The role:
Taking on a focal leadership role within the Assets team, you will mentor and develop a team of finance, plant and asset management professionals while contributing to the management and delivery of the P&L.
Your everyday:
- Lead, develop and mentor finance, plant allocation and coordination teams
- Monitor and report on commercial business performance
- Lead conversations and negotiations with external stakeholder and key project leads across the Symal Group, ensuring effective utilisation through plant allocation
- Establish strong external relationships with JV partners and suppliers to ensure project requirements are met
- Support the implementation of strategic commercial business plans that align with the group’s goals
Who are you?
With significant experience in a commercial or operations role within a plant and/or asset management environment, you will come to us with:
- Previous experience in the mining, manufacturing, or construction industries; bringing a sound understanding of plant and asset management coordination and optimisation
- Proven track record in leading high-performing, engaged teams to deliver exceptional results
- The resilience and agility to thrive in a dynamic, fast moving and complex multi-entity organisation
- Confidence leading challenging client conversations, with the ability to push back when needed while solution-focused
- Degree qualifications in engineering, business or similar; CPA will be highly regarded.
