The role:
As a Site Engineer with Symal Infrastructure, you will gain hands-on experience working for one of the fastest growing, self-performing contractors in Australia. Our expertise span across multiple sectors including a few that we have active projects across now. These are major transport, defence and renewables.
We require flexibility with regional travel, although if you reside in the Hunter Valley, you will enjoy a close office location with our HQ being based in the heart of Newcastle.
DIDO is on offer, compensating you with a living away from home allowance.
Your every day:
- Coordinating day to day activities and acting as a point of escalation for critical and non-critical events.
- Managing subcontractor packages of works including on site coordination between work fronts and different disciplines.
- Coordinate material delivery, tracking and reporting.
- Undertaking quality inspections and review of works including ITP completion.
- Tracking of daily progress and productivity and reporting.
- Provide input to program for both completed activities and look ahead.
Who are you?
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or equivalent.
- 1-2 years relevant civil construction experience.
- Experience & understanding working to TfNSW specifications is a bonus.
- Excellent stakeholder management experience.
- Driver's license and own transport.
- Flexibility with working away from home is a must.
