The role:
This position will see you taking a lead role in project delivery but also give you the opportunity to be involved in work winning in the first instance. Joining a newly formed team, this unique role will position you well for career advancement into Project Management as the business grows.
Your day to day:
- Leading projects up to 10 million, managing all aspects of the program and keeping the client informed
- Leading bids and tenders, working closely with the Estimating Manager
- Coordinating and managing construction engineering activities to ensure that projects are delivered in accordance with plans, designs and specifications
- Action progress claims, RFI’s, variations and all other related reporting requirements
- Leading and supporting a strong safety culture
Who are you?
You are a seasoned Engineering Professional with extensive experience on a broad range of civil projects such as rail, earthworks, drainage, subdivisions, rail and/or TMR. You’ll come to us with:
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with project teams, subcontractors and the client
- An understanding of the tender process and previous experience managing or leading bids
- Experience on, or an interest in renewable projects will be highly regarded.
- A keen interest in working in a diverse and agile role within a growing business
- The ability to manage smaller scale projects in regional areas is essential. Attractive compensation options are offered.
