The role: 

Reporting to the National Safety Manager, you will lead the implementation and maintenance of HSEQ Management Systems across our Victorian infrastructure business, ensuring that we maintain compliance and are actively providing advice on industry best practice.

Your impact: 

With your addition, you will be the focal point for ensuring that all relevant stakeholders are educated and remained informed, but also, have access to key information surrounding legislative compliance requirements relating to our business.

Your every day: 

  • Be an expert advisory resource to the Company on both industry best practice and legislative requirements in this field.
  • Provide leadership and direction on strategic HSEQ policy, process, system and tools.
  • Develop and lead the HSEQ strategy for the business unit.
  • Provide expert advice, support and case management to Executive Management in relation to all HSEQ issues.

Who are you? 

  • More than 7+ years' experience in a similar role across the building and construction industry.
  • Current Australian Drivers license.
  • Sound understanding of relevant legislation, EBA's, awards as well as existing accreditation schemes.
  • Relevant training including Level 2 First Aid and a Cert IV in WHS.
  • Relevant tickets & licenses including white card and RIW.
  • Robust background managing large teams across complex environments.
