Your every day:
- Liaise with and advise the HSEQ manager, Area Managers, Construction Managers, and Operations Managers of required training for individual employees and follow through with any instructed training bookings.
- Provide guidance and advice to the leadership team on training gaps and potential risks to the Symal Group.
- Ensure that competencies / licences obtained comply with legislation, industry, and client specific requirements
- Action all requirements needed for employees to be compliant / onboarded to compliance management systems’ efficiently
- Oversee quality of training programs delivered, professionally consult, and provide feedback to stakeholders on a regular basis
About you
To be successful in this role, ideally you will have:
- Intermediate Microsoft Office suite experience.
- Min 3 years relevant construction industry experience.
- Construction industry induction card is preferred but not essential.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proven time management, planning, and organisational skills.
- Knowledge of compliance and human resources management software i.e., Lucidity, Hammertech / Onsite Track Easy / Rail Industry Worker / Damstra / 3DS
- Understanding of relevant legislation.
- Exposure to AS4801, ISO 9001, and ISO 14001.
- Internal auditor qualification / training is preferred but not essential.
