Your every day:

  • Liaise with and advise the HSEQ manager, Area Managers, Construction Managers, and Operations Managers of required training for individual employees and follow through with any instructed training bookings.
  • Provide guidance and advice to the leadership team on training gaps and potential risks to the Symal Group.
  • Ensure that competencies / licences obtained comply with legislation, industry, and client specific requirements
  • Action all requirements needed for employees to be compliant / onboarded to compliance management systems’ efficiently
  • Oversee quality of training programs delivered, professionally consult, and provide feedback to stakeholders on a regular basis

About you

To be successful in this role, ideally you will have: 

  • Intermediate Microsoft Office suite experience.
  • Min 3 years relevant construction industry experience.
  • Construction industry induction card is preferred but not essential.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proven time management, planning, and organisational skills.
  • Knowledge of compliance and human resources management software i.e., Lucidity, Hammertech / Onsite Track Easy / Rail Industry Worker / Damstra / 3DS
  • Understanding of relevant legislation.
  • Exposure to AS4801, ISO 9001, and ISO 14001.
  • Internal auditor qualification / training is preferred but not essential.
