Your every day:
- Conduct reconciliations of balance sheets accounts, in accordance with the month end timetable, for a selection of Symal group companies including new entities as they arise
- Complete the GST reconciliation, monthly and quarterly dependent on the Company’s requirement
- Lead projects designed to improve overall operations and engage with those around the business to complete and roll-out these projects
- Complete balance sheet reconciliations prior to finalising board reports
- Support/Manage new process improvement projects that will drive operations and finance function growth
- Assist in half year/full year reporting disclosure requirements (accounts / tax etc.)
About you
To be successful in this role, ideally you will have:
- Bachelor of Accounting or equivalent
- CA/CPA qualified
- Experience in a financial accounting role.
- Ideally experience within the construction industry
- MUST have strong knowledge of accounting standards
- Can-do attitude and excellent communication
