The role:
As the regional expansion takes place, our newly established team are on the hunt for an experienced Site Engineer to join the team in NSW.
We have a pending energy project located in Muswellbrook. This is a DIDO role providing LAFHA as well.
We need a degree of flexibility to consider the right person for this role, as we build up our local workbook, we will need you to travel regionally and work away from home if need be.
As an established contractor taking on a new region, this opportunity will give you the steppingstones needed to forge a career and grow into a seasoned engineer / Project Manager.
Your ongoing success with the team will ensure new projects are won at tender stage and projects are delivered on time, on budget and safely.
- Coordinating day to day activities and acting as a point of escalation for critical and non-critical events.
- Managing subcontractor packages of works including on site coordination between work fronts and different disciplines.
- Coordinate material delivery, tracking and reporting.
- Undertaking quality inspections and review of works including ITP completion.
- Tracking of daily progress and productivity and reporting.
- Provide input to program for both completed activities and look ahead.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
- 1-2 years relevant civil construction experience
- Have a sound understanding of typical construction specifications used in the Australian construction industry
- Excellent stakeholder management experience
- Drivers license and own transport
- Flexibility with working away from home is a must
