The role:
As the regional expansion takes place, our newly established team are on the hunt for an experienced Project Manager to join our new team in Newcastle, NSW.
Being a newly established business in the region, this role will serve as a Bid Lead initially, as you assist with securing work, you will then go out on site and deliver said projects for us.
This role requires a degree of flexibility with travel due to the regional nature of our projects across NSW.
Your ongoing success with the team will ensure new projects are won at tender stage and projects are delivered on time, on budget and safely.
- Demonstrate leadership in health, safety and environmental management. Lead continual improvement of a high performing safety culture within the delivery team.
- Manage the overall delivery of the project in accordance with internal processes.
- Manage execution of engineering, procurement and construction activities.
- Review progress against plans, contractual arrangements and delivery milestones to ensure they are on schedule and within quality and cost estimates.
- Leading and managing teams of construction professionals including mentoring, training and performance management.
- Experience delivering Civil Infrastructure projects.
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.
- A proven track record in delivering infrastructure projects and leading teams with a successful outcome regarding the above KRAs.
- Be able to effectively communicate in meetings with consultants, clients, management & on-site personnel.
- A proven record and understanding of HSE/QA compliance.
