The role: 

As the regional expansion takes place, our newly established team are on the hunt for an experienced Project Manager to join our new team in Newcastle, NSW.

Being a newly established business in the region, this role will serve as a Bid Lead initially, as you assist with securing work, you will then go out on site and deliver said projects for us.

This role requires a degree of flexibility with travel due to the regional nature of our projects across NSW.

Your impact: 

Your ongoing success with the team will ensure new projects are won at tender stage and projects are delivered on time, on budget and safely.

Your every day: 

  • Demonstrate leadership in health, safety and environmental management. Lead continual improvement of a high performing safety culture within the delivery team.
  • Manage the overall delivery of the project in accordance with internal processes.
  • Manage execution of engineering, procurement and construction activities.
  • Review progress against plans, contractual arrangements and delivery milestones to ensure they are on schedule and within quality and cost estimates.
  • Leading and managing teams of construction professionals including mentoring, training and performance management.

Who are you? 

  • Experience delivering Civil Infrastructure projects.
  • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.
  • A proven track record in delivering infrastructure projects and leading teams with a successful outcome regarding the above KRAs.
  • Be able to effectively communicate in meetings with consultants, clients, management & on-site personnel.
  • A proven record and understanding of HSE/QA compliance.
