The role:
Managing teams of plant operators and labourers on civil construction sites, this role will see you taking responsibility for all aspects of site safety and your key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting prestart meetings, site walks and resolving issues
- Overseeing and coordinating subcontractors
- Champion a safe work site and complete safety/quality reporting
- Tracking program and cost, keeping the client informed
- Engaging with people across the site, driving a motivated workforce
Who are you?
Having forged a career in plant operation or as a trades professional, you’ve been a foreman or supervising sites across a diverse range of civil projects and will come to us with:
- Strong communication; the ability to effectively deliver messages to both employees and clients
- Multidisciplinary experience including bulk earthworks, pavements, drainage, roads and associated structures
- A demonstrated ability to lead and motivate others
- Sound problem solving capability
- Experience on projects ranging from half a million to six million dollars
- Cert III in Civil Construction and Maintenance, as a minimum.
