The role:
Reporting to the Group HSEQ Manager, you will lead the implementation and maintenance of HSEQ Management Systems across our Group, ensuring that we maintain compliance and are actively providing advice on industry best practice.
Your impact:
With your addition, you will be the focal point for ensuring that all relevant stakeholders are educated and remained informed, but also, have access to key information surrounding legislative compliance requirements relating to our business.
Your every day:
- Develop and Maintain HSEQ Systems: Implement and govern Symal's HSEQ systems, ensuring they meet or exceed legislative requirements and industry standards.
- Conduct Audits and Training: Perform governance audits, provide training to HSEQ team and senior management, and ensure accountability for high standards.
- Incident Management: Manage and support HSEQ incident response and investigations, including root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Compliance and Accreditation: Ensure compliance with existing accreditation schemes (ISO14001, ISO9001, ISO45001, OFSC) and support the achievement of further accreditations.
- Data Collection and Reporting: Collate and present monthly HSEQ performance reports, improve data collection and analysis, and maintain accurate records for audits and compliance.
Who are you?
- More than &+ years' experience in a similar role across the building and construction industry.
- Current Australian Drivers license.
- Sound understanding of relevant legislation, EBA's, awards as well as existing accreditation schemes.
- Relevant training including Level 2 First Aid and a Cert IV in WHS.
- Relevant tickets & licenses including white card and RIW.
