Senior Supervisor – Earthworks | Major Civil Infrastructure Project | FIFO 2/1 Roster | 30% FIFO Uplift
Lead the delivery of major earthworks on a landmark civil infrastructure project.
We are seeking an experienced Senior Supervisor – Earthworks to join a major civil infrastructure project and play a key role in delivering large-scale earthworks safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards.
Working closely with the Project Manager and Engineering team, you will oversee day-to-day site operations, lead supervisors and subcontractors, and ensure works are delivered on schedule while maintaining a strong safety culture.
This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced construction environment and has extensive experience managing large civil earthworks projects.
About the Role
As the Senior Supervisor, you will:
- Lead and coordinate daily earthworks operations across the project
- Supervise site teams, subcontractors and plant resources
- Ensure works are delivered safely on time and to specification
- Plan and coordinate construction activities to meet project milestones
- Monitor productivity, quality and project performance
- Drive compliance with WHS, environmental and quality standards
- Conduct pre-starts, toolbox talks and site inspections
- Work closely with Project Engineers and the Project Manager to resolve construction challenges
- Manage subcontractor performance and site logistics
- Promote a positive, high-performing and safety-focused team culture
About You
You'll bring:
- Extensive experience supervising large civil earthworks projects
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple crews
- Background in bulk earthworks, roads, bridges, renewable energy or major infrastructure projects
- Excellent knowledge of construction sequencing and site operations
- Proven ability to coordinate subcontractors and plant efficiently
- Strong commitment to safety, quality and environmental compliance
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Current Driver's Licence and White Card
