Lead a Landmark Renewable Energy Project

This is your opportunity to lead the delivery of a $100M+ civil infrastructure project as part of one of Australia's largest renewable energy developments.

As the Senior Project Manager, you'll take full accountability for the successful delivery of a major package of works, providing strategic leadership across construction, engineering, commercial performance, safety and client relationships while leading a high-performing project team in a FIFO environment.

 

About the Role

Reporting to the Project Director, you will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of a significant civil infrastructure package from planning through to completion.

You will lead multidisciplinary teams including Construction Managers, Project Engineers, Commercial teams, Site Engineers and Supervisors, ensuring the project is delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.

This role is ideal for an experienced Senior Project Manager who has successfully delivered major infrastructure projects valued at $100M+ and thrives in complex, fast-paced construction environments.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the overall delivery of a $100M+ civil infrastructure project from commencement through to completion.
  • Develop and execute project strategies to achieve safety, commercial, quality and program objectives.
  • Provide leadership and direction to Construction Managers, Project Engineers, Site Engineers, Supervisors and subcontractors.
  • Manage project budgets, forecasting, procurement, contract administration, claims, variations and commercial performance.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, suppliers and key stakeholders.
  • Drive project performance through effective planning, scheduling, reporting and risk management.
  • Champion a proactive safety culture, ensuring compliance with all legislative and company requirements.
  • Ensure quality systems, inspections, testing and project documentation are effectively managed.
  • Identify opportunities to improve productivity, innovation and project outcomes.

 

About You

You are a proven Senior Project Manager with a successful track record delivering large-scale civil infrastructure projects.

You'll bring:

  • Extensive experience managing major civil infrastructure or renewable energy projects valued at $100M+.
  • Strong leadership capability with experience managing large multidisciplinary project teams.
  • Excellent commercial acumen across budgeting, forecasting, procurement, contract administration and risk management.
  • Demonstrated success delivering projects safely, on schedule and within budget.
  • Strong client relationship and stakeholder management skills.
  • A degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline.
  • Sound knowledge of Australian construction contracts including AS4000, AS2124 or similar.
  • Previous FIFO or remote project experience will be highly regarded.
