Project Engineer | Major Civil Infrastructure Project | FIFO 2/1 Roster | 30% FIFO Uplift

Deliver high-quality project outcomes on a landmark earthworks project with a leading civil infrastructure contractor.

We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join a major civil infrastructure project, supporting the successful delivery of complex earthworks packages through strong technical leadership, project coordination and stakeholder management.

Working closely with the Project Manager, Site Engineers, Supervisors and wider delivery team, you will play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, on schedule and in line with contractual requirements.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated Project Engineer looking to work on a significant infrastructure project and be part of a high-performing construction team.

 

About the Role

As the Project Engineer, you will:

  • Provide engineering support across major civil construction activities
  • Manage project documentation including technical queries, RFIs, ITPs and quality records
  • Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and site teams to achieve project milestones
  • Assist with project programming, planning and progress reporting
  • Monitor project costs, productivity and performance outcomes
  • Support quality assurance processes and ensure compliance with project specifications
  • Review drawings, specifications and construction methodologies
  • Assist with procurement, forecasting and project reporting
  • Identify risks and opportunities and support effective project delivery
  • Work collaboratively with the Project Manager and wider project team

 

About You

You will bring:

  • Experience as a Project Engineer within civil construction or infrastructure
  • Experience delivering earthworks, roads, utilities, renewable energy or major civil projects
  • Strong understanding of construction methodologies and project delivery processes
  • Ability to manage technical documentation, subcontractors and project priorities
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • A proactive approach with a focus on safety, quality and successful delivery
  • Civil Engineering degree or equivalent qualification
  • Experience working on projects valued $10M+ highly regarded
