Symal Infrastructure is delivering the major civil works package for the Gawara Baya Wind Farm, located approximately 2.5 hours from Townsville. This major project includes 68 wind turbine foundations, roads, drainage, and supporting civil infrastructure.
We’re seeking an experienced and proactive Project Administrator to become the administrative hub of our site team. Positions like this don’t come up often on projects of this scale.

The Role
Reporting to the Project Manager, you'll provide comprehensive administrative support to ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the project.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing administration support to the project leadership team
- Processing purchase orders, invoices and project documentation
- Coordinating site inductions, onboarding and training records
- Maintaining project registers, reports and document control
- Assisting with timesheets, cost tracking and project reporting
- Coordinating meetings, travel and accommodation where required
- Liaising with suppliers, subcontractors and internal stakeholders
- Supporting compliance and project systems
About You
You’ll be successful in this role if you bring:
- Experience as a Project Administrator, Site Administrator or Construction Administrator
- Background in civil construction, mining, infrastructure or renewable energy projects
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and Outlook
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced site environment
- Experience with Jobpac, Pronto, JDE or similar systems (highly regarded)
- A proactive, team-focused attitude with strong communication skills
