Symal Infrastructure is delivering a major civil construction package for a landmark wind farm project in Northern Queensland. We are seeking an experienced HSEQ Administrator to join our project team and play a key role in supporting health, safety, environmental and quality compliance across this exciting renewable energy development.

This is an opportunity to be part of a high-performing project team delivering complex civil works in a remote construction environment, while contributing to a project that will support Queensland’s renewable energy future.

The Opportunity

Reporting to the HSEQ Manager, you will provide critical administration and systems support to ensure project compliance with Symal’s integrated management systems, client requirements, and legislative obligations.

You will support the delivery of HSEQ initiatives across the project, including maintaining registers, training records, audits, incident documentation, compliance systems and reporting requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain HSEQ databases, registers, training records and compliance documentation
  • Support the implementation and ongoing improvement of Symal’s HSEQ management systems
  • Assist with site inspections, audits, action close-outs and compliance reporting
  • Provide administrative support for incident investigations, corrective actions and lessons learned
  • Support onboarding requirements and compliance systems, including HammerTech, RIW and 3D Safety
  • Assist project teams with HSEQ reporting, documentation and client requirements
  • Coordinate training records and ensure compliance requirements are accurately maintained
  • Work collaboratively with project teams, subcontractors and client HSEQ representatives

About You

  • 2–3 years’ experience in a construction HSEQ or project administration environment (preferred)
  • Strong understanding of construction compliance systems and documentation
  • Experience maintaining registers, reports and training records
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with site teams and stakeholders
  • Current Driver’s Licence and White Card
  • Certificate III in Business Administration (preferred)
  • Certificate III in WHS (highly regarded)
  • Level 2 First Aid (preferred)
  • Rail Industry Worker (RIW) Card (preferred)
