The role: 

Our Adelaide team is seeking a Senior Surveyor to play a key role in our Adelaide growth. You’ll manage end-to-end survey activities across dynamic projects, collaborating with site teams while building the foundations to develop and lead your own team as we scale.

Your everyday: 

  • Bring survey requests to life by interpreting and delivering on instructions from the project team with accuracy and efficiency
  • Get out on site, partnering with Engineers and Supervisors to walk through projects and ensure every survey requirement is clear, complete, and ready for action
  • Take ownership of plan creation, producing high-quality conformance reports and detailed as-built surveys that keep projects on track
  • Dive into design analysis, identifying potential risks, discrepancies, and opportunities before they impact delivery
  • Champion a strong safety culture by delivering all survey works in line with client systems and Symal’s safety standards

Who are you?

  • Certificate IV in Survey or equivalent
  • Ability to interpret detailed plans & undertake survey calculations
  • Experience in software programs AutoCAD and Trimble Business Center
  • Experience with Trimble total stations and GPS equipment and remote machine control
  • Valid driver’s licence
