The role

We're looking for an experienced Senior Estimator to join our high-performing Pre-Contracts team.

In this role, you'll lead the preparation of complex and strategic tenders across major civil infrastructure projects, working closely with internal stakeholders, clients, suppliers and subcontractors to develop competitive, innovative and commercially sound submissions.

You'll play a key role in identifying opportunities, managing risk, mentoring junior team members and helping secure projects that shape Australia's infrastructure future.

Your everyday:

• Lead the preparation of complex civil infrastructure tenders from initial review through to submission and client negotiations.
• Develop detailed cost estimates, methodologies, staging plans and delivery strategies that maximise value and competitiveness.
• Manage quantity take-offs, subcontractor and supplier pricing, risk assessments and tender reviews to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Build strong relationships with clients, consultants, suppliers and subcontractors throughout the tender process.
• Support and mentor junior estimators while contributing to continuous improvement across estimating systems, processes and tender submissions.

Who are you?

• An experienced estimator with a strong track record delivering successful tenders within the civil construction or infrastructure sectors.
• Highly skilled in quantity take-offs, construction methodologies, pricing, risk assessment and commercial analysis.
• Able to interpret complex tender documentation and develop innovative solutions that improve project outcomes.
• A confident communicator who can build relationships with clients, suppliers, subcontractors and internal stakeholders.
• A collaborative leader who enjoys mentoring others and contributing to a high-performing team environment.
