The role:
We’re excited to have opened a brand-new office in Avalon, and we’re looking for a professional and people-focussed Office Administrator to play a key role in its daily operations.
As the first point of contact, you will be the face and voice of the business – providing a warm welcome to visitors, supporting staff and ensuring the office runs smoothly every day.
Your everyday:
- As an Office Administrator, you’ll be responsible for reception ad customer service, office operations, and general administration.
- Act as the first point of contact for the office, delivering professional and friendly reception and customer service to all visitors and callers
- Manage day-to-day office operations, ensuring the workplace is well-presented, organised, and running efficiently
- Provide general administrative support including mail, couriers, supplies, PPE orders, and coordination of office activities
- Support staff inductions and office events, helping create a welcoming and positive experience for new and existing employees
- Take a hands-on approach in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks and priorities with confidence and attention to detail
- Play a key role in establishing and shaping the culture of our new Avalon office, making a genuine impact through high-quality service and teamwork
Who are you?
- More than 12 months experience working in an office administration or reception role in a professional services environment
- Intermediate proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- You have a friendly and approachable manner with the natural ability to develop and maintain good working relationships with people of all levels and backgrounds
- You thrive in a hands-on, fast-paced environment and are comfortable juggling multiple tasks and priorities
- Ability to multi-task and manage conflicting priorities effectively
- Professional and personable written and verbal communication skills
- Current Victorian Driver’s License
- Ability to travel to and work from Avalon, Victoria
