The role:
Symal have an opportunity for an experience Backhoe Operator based in or around the Newcastle/Hunter region, to join the crew initially based on a civil construction road upgrade project in Cessnock, NSW.
Future projects may include DIDO and LAFH.
Your everyday:
- Operating a backhoe for a civil construction projects
- Operating other plant with tickets/VOC
- General labouring as required
- Working collaboratively with your Site Manager and team
- Promoting health and safety protocols on-site
Who are you?
- More than 3 year’s experience operating a Backhoe
- Experience working on civil infrastructure projects
- A committed attitude to work as a team and get the job done
- Tickets to operate other types of plant and machinery
- A safety-first mindset
- Valid Driver’s License and industry induction cards
- Willingness to travel and be open to Living Away From Home
- Passion for developing your career with Symal and be mentored by industry experts
