The role:

As we continue to deliver complex civil infrastructure and renewable energy projects across Australia, we’re looking for an Estimator to join the Pre-Contracts team.

Reporting to the Senior Estimator and working with the wider team, you will play a key role in supporting the preparation and execution of key tenders across our national business, producing accurate, competitive and commercially smart cost estimates.

This role can be based at either our Geelong or South Melbourne head offices.

Your everyday:

As an Estimator you will be responsible for contributing to tender preparation and submission and post-tender duties.

• Review complete tender documents provided
• Quantity take-off and prepare BOQ’s as required
• Attend site inspections
• Request for quotation from suppliers and subcontractors and provided detailed scopes to ensure accurate quotes are provided
• Identify known or assumed risks and opportunities associated with the lifecycle of the Project
• Prepare EOI submissions as required
• Prepare detailed works programs as required
• Develop a strong working relationship with clients during the tender process

Who are you?

• Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or related field

• More than 3 years' experience in construction cost planning, tendering or project delivery working on diverse tenders/projects across Infrastructure sector 
• Multi-disciplinary estimating experience on projects $10M+
• Experience with Expert Estimation software preferred
• Ability to travel to and work from either Geelong or South Melbourne head offices
