The role

We're seeking a highly organised and proactive Training & Compliance Coordinator to join our People & Capability team on a 12-month fixed-term parental leave contract.

In this role, you'll coordinate training, onboarding and workforce compliance activities across both office-based and site-based employees. You'll be responsible for maintaining training records and compliance systems, supporting apprentices and graduates, coordinating workforce onboarding requirements and ensuring employees remain compliant with industry, legislative and client requirements.

  • Facilitate training bookings, onboarding requirements and refresher training to ensure workforce compliance.

  • Support apprenticeships, traineeships and graduate development programs by coordinating training activities and maintaining training records.

  • Manage employee onboarding and compliance requirements through various client and contractor management systems.

  • Liaise with managers, employees, training providers and external stakeholders to identify and address training and compliance needs.

  • Coordinate project-specific compliance requirements, including inductions, medicals, licences and access requirements.

  • Monitor training costs, process invoices and maintain accurate reporting across training and compliance activities.

  • Support the continuous improvement of training processes, compliance systems and workforce capability initiatives.

Who are you?

  • Previous experience in training coordination, compliance administration, workforce planning, HR administration or a similar support role.

  • Strong administration and organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail.

  • Experience maintaining databases, compliance systems and employee records.

  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to build relationships across all levels of the business.

  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and Outlook.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment.

  • Experience within construction, infrastructure, engineering or blue-collar industries will be highly regarded.

  • Exposure to systems such as Lucidity, HammerTech, Rail Industry Worker, Onsite Track Easy or similar platforms will be advantageous.
