Who We Are
We’re Symal, a proudly different group of companies with a story of significant growth. As one of Australia’s largest self-performing contractors, we’re pushing what’s possible through innovation, diversity, and building better together.
Queensland is our next big chapter. With major projects underway and rapid growth through our brands Unyte, and recently acquired McFadyen Group, L&D Contracting, and Timms Group, we’re investing heavily in the region — and we need passionate people to help us make it happen.

- Champion a smooth, engaging candidate experience — from first contact to offer.
- Coordinate assessment processes, including background checks, and liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
- Contribute to employer branding initiatives that showcase why Symal is a great place to work.
Who Are You?
- Proven experience in internal or agency recruitment, ideally within construction, infrastructure, or a fast-paced operational environment.
- You take a consultative approach, balancing business needs with genuine care for people
- A natural communicator who builds trust quickly and keeps everyone aligned.
- You thrive in a fast-paced environment, juggling multiple priorities with calm and focus.
