The role:

Reporting to the National Payroll Manager, this newly created role is responsible for managing payroll for approximately 250 employees, including recent and upcoming acquisitions in Brisbane.

Your everyday:

  • Process payroll for both salary and waged staff under multiple awards (Waste Management, Building and Construction) and an EBA
  • Ensure compliance with payroll-related state legislation, including BERT and BEWT requirements
  • Use JobPac for payroll processing, with potential use of Employment Hero for separate payrolls
  • Collaborate with the National Payroll Manager and maintain continuity with payroll operations across other areas of the business.

Who are you?

You’ll come to us with:

  • Several years experience in payroll, ideally within construction or transport industries
  • Working knowledge of relevant awards and EBAs
  • Understanding of payroll-related state legislation
  • Experience with BERT and BEWT
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple payroll systems (JobPac, Employment Hero)
