Contract Administrator | Major Civil Infrastructure Project | FIFO 2/1 Roster | 30% FIFO Uplift

Support the successful delivery of a major earthworks project through effective contract administration and commercial support.

We are seeking an experienced Contract Administrator to join a major civil infrastructure project, providing essential commercial and contractual support to ensure projects are delivered efficiently, profitably and in line with contract requirements.

Working closely with the Project Manager, Commercial Manager and wider project team, you will play a key role in managing project documentation, variations, claims and subcontractor administration while supporting successful project outcomes.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Contract Administrator looking to work on a large-scale civil infrastructure project within a supportive and high-performing team.

 

About the Role

As the Contract Administrator, you will:

  • Provide contract administration support across a major civil project
  • Assist with the preparation, review and management of contracts and subcontract agreements
  • Manage variations, notices, claims and contractual correspondence
  • Support progress claims, project forecasting and cost tracking
  • Maintain accurate contract registers, records and commercial documentation
  • Assist with subcontractor management and compliance requirements
  • Review project documentation to ensure contractual obligations are met
  • Support the Project Manager and Commercial team with reporting and commercial processes
  • Monitor project risks and assist with identifying commercial opportunities
  • Ensure compliance with company systems, processes and client requirements

 

About You

You will bring:

  • Previous experience as a Contract Administrator within civil construction or infrastructure
  • Experience supporting projects such as earthworks, roads, utilities, pipelines or renewable energy
  • Understanding of construction contracts, variations and commercial processes
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced project environment
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work with project teams and stakeholders
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction management systems
  • Relevant qualifications in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering or a related discipline (preferred)
