The role:
As Project Manager, you’ll oversee and manage all aspects of civil construction projects—from pre-planning through to completion—ensuring safe, high-quality delivery on time and within budget. You’ll coordinate resources, lead and support project teams, manage stakeholders, and make sure client expectations are consistently met.
Your everyday:
- Lead end-to-end project delivery, including planning, resourcing, budgeting and reporting.
- Manage tender support activities including methodology, staging/traffic planning, risk and opportunity identification, and handover to delivery teams.
- Coordinate plant, assets and personnel to keep projects productive, compliant and on program.
- Drive program management through look-ahead planning, procurement scheduling and stakeholder coordination.
- Own commercial outcomes and HSEQ performance—cost tracking, procurement compliance, quality assurance, risk management and safety leadership.
Who are you?
- 5+ years’ experience managing civil construction projects, with a track record on complex, large-scale work.
- Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering, Construction Management (or similar) is preferred.
- Strong capability in scheduling, budgeting, resource management and contractor/supplier coordination.
- A safety-first leader with strong knowledge of construction processes, quality assurance, and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent communication skills and confidence using project management tools and MS Office (Microsoft Project experience is advantageous).
