The role:
Unyte Eastern in NSW are contuining to expand rapidly, our newly established team are on the hunt for an experienced civil Estimator to jump on board and be based here in Newcastle.
You will take the lead on all things Estimating, ensuring profitbale project wins and mitigating risk across bids and tenders.
A background in civil infrastructure is mandatory for this role.
Your every day:
- Preparing bids and tenders for various infrastructure projects including bridges, intersections, roads and drainage, earthworks etc.
- Monitor current competitive prices, new techniques and cost trends.
- Develop accurate estimates through first principles pricing of direct and indirect job costs.
- Develop, train and identify improvements to the tendering systems, including facilitating the improvement and upskilling the team.
Who are you?
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
- 5+ years relevant experience in estimating.
- Have a sound understanding of typical construction specifications used in the Australian construction industry.
- Excellent stakeholder management experience.
- Drivers license and own transport.
