The role:

Join a rapidly growing team delivering major civil infrastructure projects.

We’re seeking an Estimator to join our team in Queensland and play a key role in shaping our success.

In this position, you’ll prepare accurate, competitive cost estimates across diverse civil projects, ensuring profitability while supporting strategic growth.

Working closely with bid managers, project management, procurement, and operations teams, you’ll help deliver winning tenders and drive our continued expansion

Your everyday:

  • Review tender documents and manage quantity take-offs.
  • Prepare detailed estimates using Expert Estimation software.
  • Develop construction methodologies and staging plans.
  • Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to secure competitive pricing.
  • Identify risks and opportunities, and propose innovative solutions.
  • Participate in tender reviews and client negotiations.
  • Support onboarding and mentoring of junior estimators.
  • Liaise with Construction Managers to develop first-principle estimates and validate buildability assumptions.
  • Pro-active communication with Bid Managers to shape compelling tenders and ensure alignment with client objectives.

Who are you?

  • Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (preferred).
  • 5+ years’ experience in civil estimating and tender preparation.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, material costs, and industry standards.
  • Passion for first-principles estimating to drive accuracy and value in every bid
  • Proficiency in estimating software and MS Office.
  • Collaborative, adaptable personality with excellent communication skills.
