The role:
Support daily operations and perform maintenance on our new resource recovery line, earthmoving equipment, and our heavy fleet as we prepare for the arrival of a fuel processing line in the Sunshine North facility.
Your impact:
Ensuring equipment reliability through inspections, troubleshooting and repairs. This role is ideal for a hands-on technician with fixed plant experience. Veterans are strongly encouraged to apply, the technical training, systems knowledge, and operational discipline gained in service are highly transferable and valued in this role.
Your every day:
- Carry out inspections, diagnostics, servicing and repairs on all plant and equipment as required.
- Conducting internal safety and quality audits on plant & equipment, ensuring compliance.
- Ensuring a very strict adherence to health, safety, quality & environmental standards across the workshop.
- Accurate record keeping and administrations across day-to-day operations.
- Liaising with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure best outcome for business.
Who are you?
- Trade Certificate in mechanics, boilermaking or a related field.
- Experience in maintenance of fixed plant required.
- Valid driver's license.
- Operational experience managing budgets, cost tracking and cost-saving initiatives.
