The role
We're looking for an experienced Site Manager to lead the safe and successful delivery of EV charging infrastructure projects across Australia.
Working closely with Project Managers, Supervisors, electricians and subcontractors, you'll take ownership of day-to-day site operations, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to the highest quality standards. You'll play a key role in coordinating resources, managing stakeholders and driving strong site performance across a growing portfolio of projects.
Your everyday
- Lead and coordinate site-based construction activities across EV charging infrastructure projects.
- Manage site teams, subcontractors and suppliers to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with programme requirements.
- Monitor site productivity, progress, resources and site records while supporting commercial outcomes and project milestones.
- Build strong relationships with clients, consultants, landlords, DNSPs and key project stakeholders.
- Drive safety leadership onsite through pre-starts, toolbox talks, audits, risk management and compliance activities.
- Ensure quality standards are maintained through inspections, ITP implementation, defect management and commissioning readiness.
- Support project planning activities including shutdowns, cable installations, switchboard changeovers, testing and commissioning.
- Mentor and develop electricians, apprentices, supervisors and delivery teams to build capability across the business.
Who are you?
- A Grade Electrical Licence.
- Proven experience supervising and delivering electrical, infrastructure or civil construction projects.
- Strong understanding of EV charging infrastructure, switchboard installations, underground cabling, testing and commissioning activities.
- Experience leading site teams, subcontractors and multiple stakeholders in live construction environments.
- Solid understanding of WHS legislation, site safety requirements and quality management processes.
- Strong planning, organisation and communication skills.
- Current White Card, Driver's Licence, CPR/LVR and relevant industry certifications.
- Willingness to travel to project sites as required.
