The role
We're seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the end-to-end delivery of a portfolio of EV charging infrastructure projects across multiple sites.
Managing several concurrent projects at varying stages of delivery, you'll oversee feasibility, design coordination, procurement, construction, commissioning and handover while maintaining accountability for safety, programme, quality, stakeholder management and commercial performance. You'll work closely with clients, subcontractors, site teams and suppliers to ensure every project is delivered safely, profitably and in line with client expectations.
Your everyday
- Lead the delivery of multiple EV charging infrastructure projects concurrently, managing programme, budget, risk and project outcomes across your portfolio.
- Coordinate design, approvals, procurement, construction and commissioning activities to ensure projects are delivered safely and on schedule.
- Drive strong commercial performance through forecasting, contract administration, variation management, extension of time claims and cost control.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, shopping centre operators, asset owners, suppliers, subcontractors and regulatory stakeholders.
- Champion safety, quality and compliance across all projects while supporting Site Managers and delivery teams to achieve project objectives.
- Lead project reporting, progress claims, stakeholder communication and financial management across your portfolio.
- Mentor and support Engineers, Contract Administrators, Project Administrators and delivery teams while fostering a high-performance culture.
Who are you?
- Degree qualified in Engineering, Project Management or a related discipline.
- Proven experience managing multiple concurrent projects within construction, electrical, utilities, infrastructure or energy sectors.
- Strong commercial acumen with experience managing contracts, project budgets, forecasting and client relationships.
- Demonstrated experience leading project teams, subcontractors and key stakeholders across multiple sites.
- Strong understanding of project controls, construction programmes and delivery methodologies.
- Excellent communication, leadership and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with Microsoft Project, project reporting systems and cost management tools.
- Electrical qualifications or experience delivering EV, renewable energy or electrical infrastructure projects will be highly regarded.
