The role
We are seeking Expressions of Interest from qualified A‑Grade Electricians for upcoming works on a large‑scale solar farm located near Fulham, Victoria. This project forms part of a major renewable‑energy development and offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to Victoria’s growing clean‑energy infrastructure.
Successful applicants will support electrical installation, testing, and commissioning activities across the solar farm site. Work will involve infrastructure installation and testing of DC systems and requires a strong focus on safety, quality, and efficient project delivery.
Your everyday:
- Installation and termination of DC cabling across solar arrays and associated equipment
- Installation and commissioning of inverters, switchboards, and protection systems
- Electrical testing, verification, and completion of compliance documentation
- Identification and reporting of defects or non conformances
- Collaboration with site supervisors, engineers, and civil crews
- Adherence to all site safety, environmental, and quality requirements
Who are you?
- Current Victorian A Grade Electrical Licence
- Experience in commercial, industrial, or renewable energy electrical installations
- Solar farm or large scale infrastructure experience (advantageous)
- White Card and relevant high risk work licences (EWP preferred)
- Strong understanding of AS/NZS 3000, AS/NZS 5033, and related standards
