The role

Symal Group has entered a Joint Venture partnership with the intent to deliver a major utility-scale Solar Farm and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project in Victoria.

We're seeking an experienced Procurement Manager, with a proven delivery side track record on renewable energy projects, to play a critical leadership role in the successful delivery of this nationally significant project.

You’ll oversee the Procurement workstream, managing a dedicated support team and engage with subcontractors, OEMs and key stakeholders.

You'll be responsible for ensuring for developing, negotiating and supporting contractual commercial and delivery outcomes both upstream and downstream and play a key role in supporting the operational success of the project.

This is a unique opportunity to work on a project of major significance, helping shape delivery strategies and contributing to one of Australia's largest renewable energy developments.

Your everyday

• Manage the procurement of all project packages across solar, BESS, civil, electrical and high-voltage infrastructure works.
• Manage, monitor, report all procurement activities.
• Negotiate the best possible cost and time outcomes for the project.
• Integrate with the Commercial Management and Logistics Management teams, satisfying both Commercial and Operational workstreams.
• Responsible for Contractual management upstream and ensuring your teams diligently manage all downstream contract management
