The role:

Searo Group (powered by Symal) is an Australian electrical and energy infrastructure contractor delivering projects across General Electrical & Maintenance, EV Infrastructure, C&I Solar & Battery, and Utility Scale Solar & BESS. Operating across SA, VIC, NSW, QLD, NT, and WA, we are seeking an experienced A-Grade Electrician to join our growing NSW operations.

Your everyday:

• Electrical installation, commissioning, and maintenance across solar, BESS, and infrastructure projects
• Work on or near the NSW electricity distribution network under ASP accreditation
• Compliance with AS/NZS 3000, AS 2067, and relevant DNSP safety management plans
• Site safety leadership including SWMS, PTW, and toolbox talks
• Liaising with project engineers and site supervisors on technical matters

Who are you?

• Minimum 3 years post-trade experience in electrical construction or energy infrastructure
• Experience with HV/LV switchgear, solar PV, BESS, or utility-scale projects — highly regarded
• Demonstrated knowledge of NSW electrical regulatory framework

• UETTDRCJ26A — Install & Maintain De-energised LV UG Polymeric Cables
• UETTDRCJ27A — Install & Maintain De-energised HV UG Polymeric Cables
• UETDRIS011 — Install & Maintain LV Underground Services (Class 2B)
• UETDRIS010 — Install & Maintain LV Overhead Services (Class 2C)
