The role
We're seeking an experienced Construction Manager - EV Infrastructure to lead the delivery of Searo's growing electric vehicle infrastructure portfolio across Australia.
This national role will see you oversee multiple projects from pre-construction through to commissioning and handover, while providing leadership and support to Site Managers, Supervisors, electricians and subcontractors. With projects primarily located across Queensland, New South Wales and Victoria, you'll play a critical role in ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.
This is an exciting opportunity for a proven electrical construction leader who thrives in fast-paced project environments and is passionate about contributing to Australia's transition to sustainable transport infrastructure.
Your everyday
- Lead the construction delivery of EV infrastructure projects across multiple sites nationally, overseeing programme, resources, subcontractors, budget and project performance.
- Provide leadership and support to Site Managers, Supervisors and delivery teams, including undertaking site management responsibilities when required.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, consultants, DNSPs and project stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Drive safety, quality and compliance across the portfolio, ensuring adherence to Searo, client and legislative requirements.
- Mentor and develop high-performing site teams while supporting capability growth across Searo's expanding EV business.
Who are you?
- A Grade Electrician with extensive experience delivering commercial, industrial or infrastructure electrical projects.
- Demonstrated experience managing multiple concurrent projects, site teams, subcontractors and internal delivery crews.
- Strong understanding of electrical infrastructure, EV charging installations, switchboard changeovers, underground cable installation, testing and commissioning.
- Proven leadership, stakeholder management and commercial management capability with excellent communication skills.
- Willingness to travel regularly across Australia to support project delivery and client engagement.
