McFadyen Pipeline Construction are now seeking experienced Drainage Leading Hands to manage teams across our sites.
Your everyday:

Lead by example in promoting a strong safety culture across site. Deliver all works in compliance with McFadyen’s safety systems. Assist in the development of SWMS’s.

Interpret site plans, drawings, and specifications related to underground services

Supervision of own workforce to excavate/lay/backfill various types of pipe work and box culverts.

Developing and working to short term construction program, then setting clear targets for own workforce and monitoring performance against these.

Managing all infield communication with own workforce, subcontractors and client. Ensuring timely and accurate reporting to your supervisor.

Maintaining site records including daily running sheets, daywork records and variation instructions
What you’ll bring:

Previous demonstrated experience in a Leading Hand role on civil drainage/pipe line projects

Confidence leading a work crew

Attention to detail in record keeping and handling of dockets

Positive attitude and sound ability to communicate with others

Competency in reading drawings, laser setup, using dumpy and staff to shoot levels and working in shoring boxes

All relevant tickets and licenses including white card and drivers license
