About the Role
Reporting to the Project Manager or Senior Project Engineer, you'll play a key role in safely delivering quality civil infrastructure projects while contributing to programme, commercial and project outcomes.
Working closely with site teams, subcontractors, suppliers and clients, you'll coordinate daily construction activities and ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest standard.
What You'll Be Doing
- Coordinating daily site operations to achieve programme milestones
- Planning labour, plant, materials and subcontractor resources
- Monitoring project productivity, budgets and performance
- Supporting contract administration, purchase orders, subcontract management, variations and progress claims
- Preparing work packs, construction methodologies and project documentation
- Managing RFIs, ITPs, inspections and quality records
- Ensuring works comply with project specifications, quality standards and contractual requirements
- Driving a proactive safety culture through planning, risk management and leadership
- Building strong relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors and project stakeholders
- Identifying opportunities to improve productivity, efficiency and commercial outcomes
About You
You'll be someone who enjoys solving problems, taking ownership and working as part of a high-performing team.
You'll also bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering (or equivalent)
- Minimum two years' experience as a Site Engineer delivering civil infrastructure projects
- Experience across roads, utilities, drainage, earthworks or similar civil projects
- Strong understanding of construction methodologies and project sequencing
- Exposure to contract administration and commercial project delivery
- Excellent planning, communication and stakeholder management skills
- Strong commitment to safety, quality and continuous improvement
