As we continue to grow, we're looking for an experienced Project Engineer to join our Brisbane team.
The Opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of key project outcomes while working alongside experienced industry professionals on major civil infrastructure projects. You will be responsible for coordinating project delivery, managing commercial outcomes, driving program performance and ensuring works are completed safely, on time and within budget.
Working closely with Project Managers, site teams, subcontractors and clients, you'll have the opportunity to further develop your technical and leadership capabilities while contributing to some of Queensland's most significant infrastructure projects.
What You'll Be Doing
- Lead the planning, coordination and delivery of civil infrastructure projects from commencement through to completion.
- Manage project programs, procurement activities and subcontractor performance to achieve project milestones.
- Monitor project costs, forecasts, variations and progress claims to maximise commercial outcomes.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, suppliers and project stakeholders.
- Champion safety, quality and environmental compliance across all project activities.
- Assist with project reporting, risk management and project controls to ensure successful project delivery.
- Support site teams to drive productivity, efficiency and continuous improvement initiatives.
About You
- Degree qualified in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum 3 years' experience as a Project Engineer within civil infrastructure, roads, utilities, subdivisions or major construction projects.
- Strong understanding of project delivery, procurement, contract administration and cost control.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced construction environment.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach with a strong commitment to safety and quality.
