The role:
You’ll lead the full tender lifecycle on projects typically $20M+, driving strategy, methodology, and pricing to secure work in a competitive market.
This is more than just pricing — you’ll be a key decision-maker, working closely with Pre-Construction, Delivery, and Leadership teams to shape winning bids.
Your everyday:
- Lead end-to-end tender preparation and submission
- Develop accurate cost plans, methodologies & construction programs
- Identify and manage risk, opportunities, and competitive advantages
- Drive subcontractor engagement and pricing strategy
- Present and lead tender interviews and client discussions
- Oversee and mentor Junior Estimators
- Ensure seamless handover to delivery teams
Who are you?
- 5–10+ years estimating experience in civil/infrastructure
- Proven success on projects $20M+
- Strong commercial acumen and risk assessment capability
- Ability to lead complex bids and influence outcomes
- Confident communicator with experience in client-facing roles
- Passion for mentoring and developing junior talent
