The role:

Assisting our engineering teams with delivering major roads projects across Victoria, you will lead all traffic related initiatives surrounding our road projects.

You will work closely with the workforce, Supervisors, Engineers & Project Managers in providing excellent traffic conditions around our projects and aiming to alleviate any disruptions as best as possible.

Your impact: 

Your experience and knowledge with managing traffic in live environments will ensure we minmise community disruption as best as possible.

Your every day: 

  • Leading the delivery of all traffic related initiatives on site with extensive focus on HSEQ.
  • Supporting the wider delivery team with the creation, implementation and maintenance of Traffic Management Plans.
  • Develop and foster traffic capability skillset across the wider team.
  • Oversee development of construction methodology to control traffic related hazards.
  • Extensive interface within the delivery team to ensure potential disruptions are planned for.

Who are you? 

  • Civil Engineering degree or equivalent.
  • At least 3-5 years contractor side experience in a dedicated Traffic Management role working for a similar business across civil infrastructure.
  • Thorough attention to detail and an ability to multitask and prioritise.
  • Superb communication skills and an ability to build rapport with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Understanding of all things Traffic.
